Another weekend, another visit to the new forest for me and Zpyder with his new 7D (lucky git ;) ):

I took 266 shots, narrowed down to 68 and heres the set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/12512629@N07/sets/72157625376021738/

Was cold and overcast, but took some shots and trudged through the mud, not a huge amount of inspiration:

Tried out some fill in flash:

Were joined by random dogs along the way

Plenty of time to freeze as things were set up ;)

Got this sequance as it ran past, didnt managed to focus that well and the movement has blurred it a bit but only had 1 chance:

Is that Holly? I havent seen it in years. The second of the two is much more vibrant.

How are you liking the 7D zpyder?

Having a tripod makes a world of difference for the shots I think, compared to last weeks hand-held trip.

The 7D is good. Am loving the bigger sensor and movie capabilities already (Connected to a microscope it works really well :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDEInk_crQQ) . The biggest nuisance though is that all my software either doesnt accept the bigger/newer .CR2 files or has had to be updated. Working in photoshop I have tochange the images from 16bit to 8bit before I can save them as jpgs etc :D
