Otherwise known as pytt-i-panna ("mess-in-a-pan") or hänt-i-veckan ("happened-this-week") :D

I made that the other day - but I cheated and didnt really use leftovers, I did it from scratch :) Bit like the Brits have bubble-and-squeak, the Swedes have pytt-i-panna.

My recipe:

All the following, diced:
potato
onion
bacon
mushroom
beetroot

Fry that lot up (adding them to the pan in that order), add some seasoning to taste (like garlic, or paprika, or both, mmm), and then fry an egg or two to put on top :D

Best vomit I ever tasted! Nice and warm n gooey.

More like Mex-tex "pyt-i-panna":

tofu
ground beef
onion
tomato
egg

sauteed together and served on refried beans with both tomatillo salsa and red ancho salsa with a dosh of sour cream.

Why is ugly food the tastiest? Why?

Its in the ancient vein of: take whatcha got, fry it, then top with some sort of goo, be it cheese or sauce, to bind it all together.

Normally I would take the left over mashed potato and any veggies, put it in the pan and fry them with some cheese.
