Post by: Mongoose on December 25, 2007, 10:33:31 AM
Not enough photos in here recently in my opinion, so here are a couple I took up at my village Church

hope you like them, and a happy and safe Christmas to you all!

Needs a little shift in the light, away from yellow, but otherwise good ;)

This is common for digital cameras where incandescent bulbs are used. Most end up with the same fault, including mine, and every other one I have tried.

mmmm youre probably right, I was intentionally going for a slightly warm tone but I think I may have over done it.

Its always a challenge to get the WB right when dealing with multiple light sources (in this case 3, flash, daylight through stained glass and incandescent). As you have noticed, digital AWB is usually wrong under tungsten. I nearly always adjust the WB in processing my RAW files.

I like the tone, it really sets off the stone. Keep it I say.
