I'm amazed it took a kickstarter to make that happen, it's hardly a difficult concept to realise. Kudos to them though, how long before the big boy manufacturers have their own equivalents?

Serious:
There are already similar items out there. The problem is the dongles available now are niche products, and expensive.

There are some cameras that don't need a dongle as they have bluetooth built in. That means just connecting your devices after installing an app on the phone.

Gopro hero 5 has both bluetooth and wifi built in.
