I'm considering getting a small to medium sized light tent so that I can get better shots of my silverwork, as well as get better product shots for microstock. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

eBay and a couple of builders lamps to light it, I don't think you can do bad whichever you get, but better to go larger for the difference in price

I got one from maplin a while ago for about £10 but tbh I've never used it, its one of the fold flat types and there's plenty places to see edges, bits that aren't covered right etc might just be me putting it together wrong but the popup ones look a lot better.
something like this

Ended up getting this a few days ago:

Still waiting for it to turn up as it's an HK special, but will let you know how I get on once it arrives. In the past I've tried using black or white card but I've never found any that is right, it's either too gloss or too grainy.
