Sams pic looks incredibly like another photo of the same Ive seen a long time back

Id have thought just about everyone who passes that and has a camera takes a similar picture, I know I would.

I very much doubt Sam is sad enough to cheat in a forum comp which is only for fun and the glory of victory.

Wtf? You can f**k off if you think I stole it.

I didnt actually say you had, I said it looked incredibly like another picture, which I dont have access to.

As Mongoose says there will be millions of near identical ones out there though.

Wheres the new photo topic thread then?

"I didnt vote originally as I was suspicious of Sams pic."

Yes, my apologies for thinking that was a slur on my integrity.

Ill let the boss post up the thread, but the theme for the next competition is "Lettering" - interesting signs, whatever.

I let a significant amount of time pass between my posts, sometimes the only way to get a response is to provoke one.

If you feel Ive been excessive in this then I apologise but if you saw a photo that looked very like one you have seen would you not be suspicious?

No, because

1. Its me: I think Ive been around long enough to be known.
2. Its tekforums: Do you think Id "cheat" in a "for fun" competition with 20 users?

Of all the people Ive met Sam despises any type of competition cheating the most and Im not surprised he felt insulted.

changing the subject, do I get a wooden spoon for getting absolutely no votes at all?

I didnt vote originally as I was suspicious of Sams pic. Have Now voted for Binary.

Its a small forum competition.

There isnt a prize.

Sam has posted in previous threads that he has purchased a Nikon D5000

The pic in question was taken by a Nikon D5000

It is fairly likely that the picture submitted by Sam was indeed taken by Sam. Ive got no idea where that star trek thing is but Im guessing there are lots of pics of it from star wars fans all over the interweb. Getting suspicious because youve seen a similar pic doesnt make sense - FWIW if Id had time to enter Id have submitted a pic of either the London eye or HMS Belfast moored along the Thames - youd likely have seen a similar pic of either of them.

I saw at least 5 shots taken within seconds of Binarys of that same jet taking off, the two Red Arrows crossing which I claim to have attempted is one of the most popular shots from their display, and Im sure Ive seen one of those pink things Pete posted before.......
