Taken on a work sailing trip at the weekend

If that was the same weekend i took my photo which i have removed it wont be within the comp time frame and wont be allowed.  :disappointed:

Yeah, nuts - I realise this now. The odd thing is somehow I thought Id read this thread before the weekend too. Must too much crack again...

Edit: As for the contrast debate Sexytw thanks for the comments - ur version was a bit too much for my taste but there was probably a version in between the two that mightve been a bit stronger.
"Within your 'purview'? Where do you think you are, some f**king regency costume drama? This is a government department, not some f**king Jane f**king Austen novel!"

Yep I agree on the contrast, just a little tweak on the first picture maybe, just to bring out the gradient of the sky. But I think the original is still a good pic and a good exposure.

16th of July, just outside my office

Im lucky enough to work at the UK Defence Academy, we get treated to a display every graduation day. We get a good view too, with there being virtually no crowd.

Went out last night, after my house mate getting his car back from the body shop due to someone unable to drive in a car park..

This is the one I want to enter at the moment:

Here is another shot, but not for the comp:

Cheers, I hadnt planned on doing it, as was kinda expecting other people to do it, but it was really dark, much darker than it looks.

Was 13 second exposure I think, and just happened to have a car go past and thought it made the shot much better than the shot without

Im planning on something similar, im off home for a week to the countryside where its dark so I should get some chance to play.

Need to find a nice vehicle tho.
