How about we have it bi-monthly, much more likely that people will enter.  We can have a voting system to choose the theme.  We can then just vote for each others pictures so should not really need a moderator?  I am happy to assist with any work that is required.

People post other pictures and comment on the ones posted, the thread needs to be cleaned up, extra posts removed and a poll added to it. That means a moderator.
