Some holiday pics
on: September 23, 2012, 22:00:13 PM
They are just off my phone and completely amateur with not much effort but I like some of them so thought I would share.

They where taken in various places around Fuerteventura mostly while I hired a bike.

Sorry if they're huge but PB is being stupid. I'll try and sort them out asap.

Hope you like some of them.

Different to what you think of when you hear of someone going to Fuerteventura, some nice landscapes there and the eyes on that owl are a little scary!

And doesn't matter about them being off your phone, they always say that the best camera you have is the one with you.

Good point that, worth anyone remembering. I don't have a nice DSLR and have to use my phone, I always think it's not worth it at the time but then later on regret not taking the snaps.

I think the ladscape shots and the owl are pretty good, is the whole area like that or is there more greenery elsewhere?

Yeah the whole island is very volcanic and barron most of the greenary that you see are man-planted palm trees and the odd cactus.

There are huge sand dunes in the north east of the island that are alot prettier than the desert'esc barron mountains and plains.

I really loved the place, there are not many places I go that I would like to live but I could live there quite easily, I even asked the hotel if they had any electrician jobs going :p

I bet the barren plains and mountains would keep me entertained for days, must be so much wildlife hidden in amongst the rocks...so long as it doesn't bite...
