Rusty Rudder from the back of a boat sitting on the dockside at Seahouses. I'd like to get rid of the blue paint on the edges if I can but that might be a tad tricky so I'll give it a go when I get some more time.

I like the blue. Adds contrast.

I wasn't sure with the blue as some people might see it as being a little out of place but I see what you mean, just adds something different. I had to crop it a little to even the picture up as there was more blue on the right hand side might have been better if I'd got an even about of blue on either side.

And thanks, been quite pleased with the ones I've took recently, bit different to what I normally take and they seem to be working so I'm doing something right! Still got a few to edit but need to get out and take some more sometime soon.

Up until Sunday I'd not taken anything for nearly a month but I finally got out to a local Medieval fair which I also went to last year, it was fairly similar to last years event and because of the amount of people around it was fairly limiting as to what I could take so I opted for the flaconry display again, this time a couple of shots of an Eagle Owl.

And that didn't take long, just saw on older screenshot of my views and on the 22nd Jan when I posted my aurora pics I only had 5348 views so that's nearly 5000 views in 6 months woop woop

I was out tonight looking to get some landscape shots and look what I found...

Not the best shot ever but its the first time I've seen one in the wild, it was getting rather dark so I struggled to keep the shutter speed up and it didn't help that I'd left my camera in bracketing mode as I'd just been using in a few minutes before hand to get some shots for an HDR. Still now I know where it is I'll head back and see if its around a bit more, anyone want to give me £10,000 for a D4 and a 400mm F2.8? Please??

Thanks, hopefully I'll get some more this next week as well, am off on holiday to Loch Ness just hope the weather forecast improves a bit and I might get some landscapes in and hopefully something nice of the stars.
