great shot, cleverly researched and planned. Normally I hate it when trap shots win major competitions since I consider them largely pure luck, but this one seems to have been specifically planned and designed so Ill let him off.
I like eye of the Jaguar at the bottom of the page.

All the shots are very good, I like the protective cat a lot too.
Its marvellous seeing such amazing photography, particularly inspiring for me at the moment since Ive been watching David Attenboroughs life on iPlayer.

Id be much more impressed if it was a grab shot. -)

Great shots, wish i could get similar, i have all the gear but am never in the right place at the right time to get anything like that

I presume a grab shot is a spur of the moment "walking past, see the wolf, take the photo" shot, rather than a "camp out the fence where signs show the wolf has passed, and wait...and wait..." even though in this instance it was taken with a trail camera I gather, which is simply a camera triggered by IR so hed have left it there and come back the next night and downloaded the images.
