well? you must have got home from Oxford by now and you cant tell me you didnt rip open the box like a 9 year old on Christmas day the instant you got home, so how is it??

Heheh - so true!!

Its AWESOME! Absolutely mint - not a mark on it. Everything boxed and in original packing etc.. Had a bit of a play with it terrorising the cats etc.. - very impressed. Bearing in mind I absolutely dont know how to use it Im already getting far superior shots out of it than out of the S9600. Definitely missing the zoom on the Fuji, although the abilities the Sony has even in my hands is superb. So much easier to do the things I wanted - like focusing on the foreground and blurring everything else etc.. Its just a lot sharper and more responsive which makes everything easier to achieve. Really looking forward to actually learning to use it properly - hopefully I can contribute more to the forum and comps :)
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

My mate has played with most of the Sony range as he has a deal with them, the pictures come out very sharp and impressive across the range, they seem like really nice cameras so I think you got yourself a good purchase there!

the Minoltas were always very good so unless Sony have actively made them worse, they were on to a winner from the start really.
