I switched from my Nikon D90 to a Sony A6000 mirrorless and loves the more compact size and weight. Also way better autofocus.

Had a bit of money come in recently and also bought a A7III with 55mm 1.8 Zeiss and Sony 28mm 2.0.

Absolutely loving it but its definitely the first time my kit is way better than my skills, im nowhere near pushing its capabilities.

I had no idea you were so old steve :-p

I check the forum embarrassingly often... probably a couple of times a day just in case someone posts :-o

Ancient, knighty, ancient. Then again I'm not that far short.

Still alive but feeling my age @ times( i,m 60 in 18 months).
Still in engineering but not the same place.
Still keep up with new hardware but do not feel the need to upgrade.
Still water cooled & using the Abyss radiator i got centuries ago.
Still single but nearly messed up & got married but common sense prevailed
