Its a 1800 Ford Zetex 16 V wet sump engine (Appr 150 bhp and only done 3350 miles), twin weber carbs, a Tranex straight cut gearbox and a Quaife LSD live axle. The car weighs 680kg!

Track days mostly, he's always liked classic cars, he has a micra for his daily driver that he really looks after and he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty. So the fact that apparently speed bumps aren't fun and the exhaust is LOUD and it has some form of silencing disk in there that could be removed, it's also a straight cut gearbox which means it'll whine like a SOB.

I bet that goes like stink at 680kg and about an extra 40bhp of my roadster, it can't be comfortable though from the sounds of it!

I expect it's silly! He's already been eyeing up another engine for it, with closer to 200hp and expects he'll achieve around 4 seconds 0-60. I'll be going over that way in about a month, I'll let you know how quick it is!
