Title: Any bikers, anwser this yamaha question
Post by: Bacon on April 01, 2007, 20:49:56 PM
Im selling (attempting to) a bike for my bro,

2006 Yamaha TT250RR - only 315 miles

Wondering if i can get a general worth of this bike in £s

its been de-restricted, had a 13 tooth front sprocket and upgraded air filter all fitted from new by the dealer, and the bike is mint.

Id also like to know what the "RR" stands for, im told its special compared to the standard "R" but i dont know why :D

RR might mean "race replica"

other than checking prices in autotrader im not sure where to price it from.

you might want to put the sprocket back to standard if the speedo runs off the gears and not the front wheel before you sell it.

Ive advertised it as is, with the extra bits, priced it, and confirmed price with a local dealer whos sales agent knows my bro.

Its generated a lot of interest, the auction finishes on saturday, cant wait to see the final price, also someone else has listed an exact bike same year but more mileage for a 3.5k buyout, so that will help the sale of ours :D :D
