DH isnt asking you to not discuss the games, hes just asking that you dont put the score in the thread title. Its just a bit of courtesy really.

I too will now be editing score lines out of thread titles.

Ive stopped doing it too, see my England vs Equador thread.

TBH although it makes it easier to get the result without opening the thread it also spoils it for those who have recorded the game and want to watch it later on.

Putting the score in the body of the post is a compromise but IMO an acceptable one.

Im sorry you feel the need to disregard a request from one of the two moderators of this forum.  I dont understand why you deliberately want to spoil the match for me.  I have to record the matches because I sleep during the day as I work nights.

Youre right; this forum is not just for me.  It?s for everyone.  I have made a request which I would like everyone to follow.  I am not overly unhappy about the fact that you ignored the request but the way you have gone about ignoring it and your openness to being deliberately spiteful towards another member of these forums.

It is obvious to me that you have a chip on your shoulder which is more suitable for someone on a playground.  If you cannot act in a responsible manner on these forums then please dont post.  The thing that makes these forums so good is that generally everyone treats each other with respect and it?s usually a nice atmosphere.  Sometimes people like to rock the boat.  Fine, it?s dealt with.  

Other forums arent moderated in such an easy going manner as Tek Forums.  The fact that its very rare for me to wear my moderating cap is great.  I dont like to see forum members deliberately causing trouble, its not big and doesnt impress anyone.  If you are not happy with the rules placed on a forum by the moderators of that forum, the solution is simple, avoid that forum.

If you are unhappy with the actions of a moderator, then feel free to voice your concerns to another member of the moderating team or to an Admin.
