Broke your rip = part time job you may not be able to do for a bit, you should call police, keep the blood soaked thing and tell them location car and time, get the bitch.

No consolation but here is a story for you from a while ago.

Going college on my bike, I go on the path to cross the road near college and the crossing (no lights but its a slot for people to cross and a stop in between the lanes)
So I am waiting and some women stops and waves me on, so I raise my hand and say thanks and move to cross

she hits me, I fall over and well my bike was dented and I was just bruised with scuffed trousers, she got out going "Omg i thought you had past me, omg" gave me £40 for new trousers and bike repair, moaned at her a bit but was going to be late for lessons otherwise.

Men driving are just as bad, but women do accidents in the more divey fashion.
They will hit you or something and drive off and actually not notice they hit something, a bloke will just be "stuff it i aint stopping could be in trouble" but not even noticing is worse i think

Do not get me started on old folk and them going around the roundabout the wrong way nearly hitting the family in the car as we were going somewhere once.

what pissed me off more was i was in the road and people were driving around me. utter c**tS.

well my bikes fine, i got back up screamed soem four letter words at her speeding off, and then got back on my bike as i had a lectuere. ive only got flesh wounds (scrapes on my hands, ankles, an shoulder) im more bucked off about the fact she will prolly hit a kid and not know.

should report the bitch. They can easily cross reference your accident time with her phone records. SHould get her a nice big fine & several points for due care & attention, dangerous driving, etc.

Women should not be allowed to drive in built up areas or on motorways.

File a police report ASAP, it shouldnt be too hard to track down the vehicle---green with a big scrape down the side. See if you can get some young buck lawyer to work pro-bono and ruin her life. At least get her driving privileges suspended for a year and a thou in your pocket.

If shed stopped and seen if you were OK, Id say settle it privately if she apologized sincerely--its the running part thats quite nasty. Even if it was you cycling like a douchebag--she should still have stopped.

for the civil side you dont really need a lawyer - this is county court level stuff - if he tracks her down and wants to claim for damages then he just needs to go to www.moneyclaim.gov.uk

As far as the criminal side is concerned that is completely down to the police, the CPS and a magistrate(if the CPS decides to prosecute).
