Just got a NIP!

46 in a 30 :whoops:

is that going to get me more than the usual £60 and 3 points?

I dont personally know anyone whos had to go to court after a NIP.... and some have been going faster than that.... so fingers crossed and you shouldnt be the first :-)

I thought I had 3 still on mine.... but when I got pulled last night found out my licence was actually clean.... pity about the extra 3 the git added on :-(

shouldnt think so, i got caught doing 51 in a 30 and got 3 points + £60 fine

i looked it up apparently you can go up to 59 in a 30 before any more punishment.

could do without this though, hopefully they will offer me the driver improvment course instead of the points.

I believe that the guideline is anything that exceeds 100mph or double the speed limit (whichever is lower) = prosecution. Anything under 10%+2 mph = let off

This is only a guideline though.
