They didnt even get in either, and although its a bit loose, it still works

Twats, why couldnt they have gone for the passenger side, thats already mullered.

soopahfly

better that than bending the door back.

Reminds me of a time my mates mk3 fiesta was attempted to be stolen.
I mean, anyone can break into and start the old mk3s.  These guys failed.  Left the HU in and took a pair of gloves from the glove box.

redneck

they were women theives.

oooh gloves.... mmmmmm

rusty, this is going to sound sh*t but, if you still have your old astra, everyong knows they are easy to break into.

but obviously these muppets cant operate a broken door lock lol

Chris

Crikey, I cant believe that your car was broken into (or attempted, at least) and mine hasnt, even though Im the one living in the rougher area

However, my bike did get chored from outside my back door a couple of months ago

Edit: On thinking about it, is there even anything worth stealing in your car?  You always take your faceplate off dont you? and theres no sub/amp in ya car these days either.  Plus, your car is a rotten sh*tter  - couldnt they have climbed in through the rear arches?

Yes its the Astra, and yes everyone knows theyre easy.

Well, except these morons at least

As Chris said there is nothing worth robbing in there, face plate is always removed, and all CDs are MP3 CD-Rs. Do keep some sunglasses in the glove box, but theyre worthless.

Chris

isnt the mk2 astra the most broken into car in the UK or something?

Poison_UK

Thought it was the Nova or Skoda?

Indeed it is, or used to be

DEViANCE

unlucky mate, at least they didnt get anything.

I have seen how easy it is too steal those old vauxs, some fiddling with the hazard switch is all it takes.

nah, thats the escort you are thinking of there.  The astra wasnt _quite_ that bad.  As much as i loved mine i hated the fact car theives liked it almost as much as me.
