Imagine my surprise to hear this first on BBC News 24 rather than internet flash! It was always likely to happen, but theyd been saying recently they were going to start afresh in Blackpool. Now only the engines will be made there it seems.

Id still like one :/

This is the first thing Smolensky has done that I havent thought would improve the company. Who the hell will want a foreign TVR?
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo... Again.

Foreigners.

Its not like British cars are known the world over for their reliability or anything (pot:kettle:black:duh). Might sell more if theyre made in eastern Europe. Theyd certainly be priced more competitively.

Binary Shadow

meh people only bought TVRs cos they were made here... lol yeah right it was all about the powaaaaa

I think Binary S is right in that I reckon people dont buy TVRs because theyre British, but more for what theyre getting.
The question will be can he make them not cheaper but more reliable? The newer cars have already been shown to be much better all round critically. Id rather have a Ukrainian Tuscan that ran like clockwork and kept the weather out than one from Blackpool that would strand me 100 miles from Inverness with wet feet
