depends how far you want to travel. I have had some great camping trips around snowdonia/mid wales bit chilli this time of year tho.

If you want to go camping in the Highlands of Scotland I recommend you go before the midges get hungry ....  May/June. Isle of Skye, Sligachan, on bus route, adjacent huge bar, one of UKs best views..
