We ripped off the ARB when I was trying to jump start Alan's van with the tow rope attached to the rear ARB

Thread title justified then me thinks 

The best was actually getting Alan's vans started! A thick cloud of smoke (and I don't just mean mist, I mean a literal, thick, massive, white opaque cloud) filled the A27 so it was pretty much impassable for 5 mins and Alan rattled his van off to do a delivery, needing something like 15 jump starts to get home again 

I'm rubbish with cars and I plain don't understand a lot of the lingo, but it's still tickling me

Nothing has been done to it other than servicing.
