I could get it for £25 but they wouldn't shampoo the interior! That's the deal clincher (seriously, it was a right state).

A good job done once and it won't need doing again - I'm quite happy to vacuum and wash my own car generally.

I can vouch for the quality, I saw it yesterday, and it was just horrible, with unknown bits of food and awful smells coming from it (mostly dog and stale cigarettes) but today it looked 100x better!

I think he was a nice enough man, and deserved his money

Anyone who cleans Man Stains for 45 quid deserves their money!

The 0-60 time for the Octavia is supposed to be 19 secs. The BMW pulled ok, but im shocked that you think the Audi TDI didn't, even the 1.6 petrol A4 pulls well.

After Nige driving me home earlier, I'd say that time was about a quarter of that. No way is it anyway near that figure, it's a speedy little motor

The battery did go flat though, from what I can only think is the interior light playing up and switching itself on (the switch is borked). I had half the neighbours out trying to give me a push and asking for jump leads. I disconnected that now so fingers crossed I haven't ended up with a duff battery!

Yeah she's overstimating as she wasn't watching the speedo when I was accelerating, but even with me driving leisurely its no slouch.

I know, but I can't afford one yet! I'm positive disabling that interior light will have sorted it, time will tell!

DEViANCE

looks like a nice car, a quick google brings up that geaboxs can be very weak on these so dont thash it too much.

The gearbox is crap and it doesn't always want to go into 1st gear, that's the first thing I said about it (other than disliking the pedal placement)

Rear Anti-roll bar missing

LOL, how was the handling on this wreck?

How do you just lose an anti-roll bar?

It really didn't like speed bumps!

We ripped off the ARB using it in place of a towing eye trying to tow Alan's van to get it running.
