Thanks, but it was kinda forced! I tried the following cars and found them too small for my frame (6feet tall, 16 stone)

The various Jap suggestions were mostly discounted due to running costs + insurance and the A4 / 330 were going to be just too big for what I actually wanted. My main beef with the RX-8 was that for everything its good at, the main selling point is "You can also get your kids in the back" which isnt what I wanted, but then it is an excellent all rounder with a great interior. So long as I dont get one with a sunroof (you lose about 2" of the headliner to make room for it) then Ill be happy

Considering getting one from Direct Choice (another Carcraft type place) because they had a good selection and the prices seemed excellent. Can get a 56 plate 231PS model with 6k on the clock for £13k. I just need to be careful to get the particular one I want as earlier models have funny plastic ribbing on the seat bolsters (rather than full leather).

Make sure and check your oil EVERY time you fill it with petrol.

I saw an RX8 in the local rag for £13K the other day.
