thinking of selling it and getting a diesel range rover

Binary Shadow

blughhhh its grim

cant get the smell of diesel off my hands, removed the in tank pump today so got covered in the stuff, its the fuel of satan!

Mark

it is horrible to work at, i HATE working at lorries

Clock'd 0Ne

Wont swarfega get it off? Ive found that works for 99% of things, Ive never dealt with diesel before though.

For me it has to be Fairy liquid and sugar.

Binary Shadow

fairly liquid got it in the end, seems im walking in a cloud of the stuff as i can still smell it heh

This VW Passat is officially crap! i hate it yes HATE IT.

Worst car iv ever owned!

Replaced the in tank pump and i still cant get the thing primed and now it turns out that the injection pump might be coded.

Its going to a diesel specialist during the week, will be up for sale pretty much as soon as i get it back tho.

Mark

injector pump usually is coded - did you not get the lot with it ?

Binary Shadow

Well its been in my mates mates garage for best part of 4 weeks, the pump that i bought is NBG so they sent my old one off to be fixed £550 + a days labour (not bad considering its been in there for so long) its looking like circa £1k to fix it, then i need to MOT it as that runs out in days.. this thing will be the death of me!

Nah, could have been a days labour on top of that £870+VAT so i doubt it

Binary Shadow

*sigh* £1254 later and i have a working car with a fresh MOT, time to sell, drives well tho, really enjoyed the drive home, feels tiny now iv been driving the range rover for weeks
