I wish car companies would give up on Electric. Fuel Cell is the way forward, unless they are designing a small range cheap car for people to go around the city.

But I might just want to go out for a drive, if I go on a 150mile drive I dont want to think "Right Im going to have to plan to go via this station and this one to recharge my batteries" I just want to get in and go.

Yes :)
QuoteNLV claims the FAES system can be charged to full capacity in 20 minutes and give the vehicle a range of 500km. Helping to extend the range is a solar-cell coating called thin-flm that is applied to the car's body. Finally, the Quant is also fitted with a brake-energy recovery system.

But what if I get lost and do a detour of 100 miles ontop of the 150 miles.

I did that once, got lost after driving though Kielder toll road and then ended up in Scotland. Then it RAINED and I had the worst headache too.
