im sorely tempted to spend £400 on an exhaust to unleash some of that v8 noise.. but does it really suite a range rover?

Youre fuel consumption would also go up.

If you were going to keep it then Id probably say yes, but most buyers would want a standard exhaust. unless you kept the standard one and then put it on when it sold.

looking at like £2000-£2500 for the conversion.. is it paying for itself? probably not, and the shortness of my trips means its unlikely itll get warm enough to switch to gas before i get there

lol is about all im going to say to that tbh just because some people can cycle to work fine doesnt mean we all can, i for one dont want to arrive at work hot and sweaty before iv even started, and then theres the less than ideal weather

LOL... nieve.  

Ive ridden commutes from 24 miles (there and back), down to 2 miles (5 mins), in city traffic, on country lanes, and at speeds from 5mph to those approaching 35 - 40mph.

Ive yet to ever turn up at work hot and sweaty. A little short for breath maybe, but thats because I chose to cane it down a small hill prior to getting there.

Closest ive been to it is doing the 24 mile commute in a waterproof jacket, that got me sweaty, still not hot. In fact I put a long sleeved top on that day for the journey back because I was cold due to the wind chill you get when going around 20mph.

Rain does sometimes suck I guess if you arent used to it. But thats a car day then Doesnt mean you need to use your car every day.

You dont need the engine at normal temp to switch to LPG, it might help, but you dont need to.
