My money is on Raikonnen.  Give him the car to do the job and if he is the right mind set he will dominate.  I dont care who is behind him.

Going into this season as champion is going to be such a confidence boost and ferrari have been looking very good overall in testing.

Suprise of the season.  I would expect either BMW or Red Bull to get up there in between the Ferrari and Mclarens.  I also expect BMW to either get at least 1 pole posistion or GP win.

Again Hamilton should have shut up some of the media folk in regard to him not being able to hack all the changes and it would be harder etc and Ferrari would coast the first race of the season and Hamilton has made it look easy.
Very early days but a nice win
Ferrari were all over the place

AS for the amount of cars that finished - ROFL, I hope this is not an early sign of the trend in F1

Ron Davis on the run up and on the podium, You can clearly see the "f you FIA and Others!!!!!" on his face

Ferrari were very quick, but had a bad weekend.  2 of their engines failed.  Questions asked.

I hardly think this will shut the critics up.  Its not like the drivers are not used to no TC as the majority of F1 feeder series such as GP2/F3000 do not use TC.  Nico Rosberg having won and then subsequently joined F1 a year before Hamilton.

Im not sure why Hamilton is calling it his best win, he had absolutely nothing to do sitting behind the Safety Car.  He pretty much won it in qualifying.  Hes had to work for a win before.

Alonso unsuprisingly doing very well in a car that on paper is slower than the front runners.

hmmm, that suspension should not have broken so easily nor whould the wheel have come off....
Stewards may ban the Red Bull cars due to concerns over their safety after the crash.  They have to submit a technical report to the stewards and they will decide whether or not they can race.

Oooh, actually did you see the first race when masa hit  Him

Mass came off nothing for nothing but at the time I thought that the car fell to bits very easily then since massa looked fine and carried on but couthards car was a mess

I just got the irony of my title change, lol

Anyway...

They got to stop that slow car train at the end there blimey that could end up in a big smash, moving chicanes.
Some rules are going to be put in place to stop that for the next race I am sure.

Serious

Yeah, F1 cars have had spoilers for quite a while ;)

Although Max is doing his utmost to get them removed for 2009 season.

The Mclarens are penalised for being on the driving line, however they were coming up to a right hand corner so they could quite possibly be on the apex as a car on its fast lap is also wanting to use it.  Its a harsh decision but it ensures at the next race a new rule will be in place, eg they need to be at the 80kph strip on pit lane within 10% of their fastest lap otherwise drop down the grid.  That would ensure an expedient return to the pit.

Yeah, box carts is what he wants, lol

Funny, 5 cars on the track going slow impeding Alonso and 2 williams cars.
The cars going slow being a BMW 2 nice red cars and 2 Mclarens
When it comes to punishment oh look Mclaren have a 5 place penalty implied to them by the FIA

If it was not clear already that the FIA is a Ferrari club and that they hate Mclaren it is bloody dam obvious to everyone now.

Deaths Head

The problem with your argument is the Mclarens were the only cars going slow on the racing line.  If they had not been there, there would not have been a need to weave between the cars.

This would be true but on the f1 forums they keep linking and watching the videos deleted showing masa on the racing line as well

On a different note - great run from Lewis in Q. Lets hope his race is as good!
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

I was expecting a win from BMW but not this early and with such a strong performance 1 2 finish.

But watching the season progress the win has really been coming and Kubica really is looking the real deal.  If he keeps up this consistancy he really has a good chance this year.
