I quite fancy a classic car, not got a lot of money to play with maybe £1500-£2000.

itll have to be pretty practical as itll get used as the 2nd car (once or twice a week), quite affordable insurance and tax wise too (tax free would be great).

anyone got any suggestions?

ive seen some decent condish P6s going for that sort of money...

Becoming very collectable, Ill sell you a good one if interested.

Hillman Imp - I have 2 of them - one with 1175 miles from new, the other, a singer chamois has rather more miles but can get used a lot more

Theyre a far, far, FAR better handling car than a mini, and theyre RWD with a rear engine layout, so good fun as well.

Oh, and they will also outhandle a mini - run rings round it in fact - in part die to the massive long front arms.

Ill fire some pix up of mine when I get back from hamsterley, but in the meantime here are a few google images results

Theyre usually 99% fillers as well is the problem - also horrific engines

Why? Take that £1,500 and buy something thatll have a positive influence on your life. A classic is like having a pet that you need to feed £20 notes to every day and when you take it for a walk everyone laughs.

£5-7k classic = maybe.
£1-2k classic = nah.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.
