I completed my first sprint triathlon yesterday.  It was a great experience and now I know where Im falling short, the swim.

It was expected as I hadnt done swimming since September last year.  But I didnt think itd be as hard as it was.

13~ minutes for 400 minutes is awful, I think I did about the slowest time of all the 200 or so competitors.

Overall completion time was just over 1:30, so way off my 1:15 target.  If I get my swim and transition times down to average levels, Id have done it in 1:20.

Im glad I gained this experience before the London Triathlon
