Groin injuries *snigger*
on: September 15, 2008, 17:17:40 PM
All jokes aside, I was wondering if anyone can help or has the same kind of problem.

I *think* it stems back to early school days and not stretching properly before doing hurdles. Basically, if I walk too fast (IE, long fast paces) I get a tight tendon kind of feeling on the inside of my left thigh near my groin. I most recently got this on saturday when I was on a mission to get a load of fieldwork done really quickly so was stomping around the place.

I guess its basically me pulling the tendon there, but Im wondering if other people have this, and if theres anything that can be done to either alleviate the pain when it happens (I end up hobbling once I stop/slow down and the tendon tightens!) or to prevent/cure it all-together!

How flexible are you?

Might want to start doing some regular stretching exercises for it see if that helps.

If its a serious pain might want to go to Doctor though, as there are a few other things which require more attention in and around that area, hernias etc.
