Maybe those wheels wouldn't be quite so bad if they didn't have balloon tyres, and the height was adjusted a smidge.

Yeah, you're probably right, although it's not really something that bothers me as they look alright enough. TBH though its a pretty comfortable ride, less jarring than I remember it being on my old rims which were megaSport JAPturbo type affairs. Here's a comparison:

I think the old ones were only 16" w/ Toyo Proxes, the new car has Michelin Energy on each corner both 195/50 I think. Actually, the ride was probably more down to the suspension.

Your old car looks a little battered in that pic :S

It wasn't a very good photo, its not straight for starters, but the alloys were the best thing about it condition wise :D Bloody should be too, they cost me over £500 (with the tyres fitted)!

I've been in Munich in -10C weather and getting the beers down me, so no, I came back to what felt like summer (and no snow) In fact I haven't actually driven it anywhere in almost a week, I need to change that.

Skoda sold for £700, £50 less than what I paid for it I think.  ;D

Which means the MX-5 has only cost me £350 and I've got a full years MOT and 6 months tax on it :nana: Roll on summer! 8)

I've decided this is what I'm eventually aiming for:

That car seems to be pretty much the same colour and I think the red/green combo will look smart.

When I have a free Saturday sometime soon I'll get the cam cover sprayed wrinkle red like that 8)

lol I forgot to say just the engine look, a massive supercharger would be nice though!

Kudos on the avatar btw, classic!
