Imagine a tsunami then a scoupfull can do that !

Its easy to forget that water is still a massive object that can do serious damage. I wonder how much mass is in that scoop alone, must be at least a ton of weight?

a ton of water is only a cubic meter

Christ, I'd never have thought it was that small for a ton of water. When you see those 1 tonne gravel bags on the backs of cranes they are much bigger, but I guess there's a lot of empty air in them between the gravel and the gravel must not be that dense.

It is a Liebherr R 9800 Mining Excavator, as far as i know it is the biggest in the world.

Shovel volume: 38 to 42 m³. So approximate 40 tons of water crushing the car down there.
