Ultimas are awsome, seen one in action at the airfield day I went to.

They spent ages, trying to get it to pass the sound check

They are BIG cars... I mean, full-on supercar maaassiiivee



I know of a car (well, it only uses 4 wheels until ~10mph) thats a hybrid (62mpg they say) and has a 0 to 450kmh of 19 seconds :shock:

Its called the Acabion, and its the fastest thing that goes along tarmac that Im aware of.  that is, if they actually release one...  it was shown at the Geneva MotorShow this year. I spose it doesnt count, as its vapour-ware at the moment though.

Ultimas start at something silly under Ã,£25,000 though... !

Isnt the coparo T1 as seen on the week before lasts top gear going to take this record anyway?



(not taking anything away from the insanely fast ultima, its just the ultima record is quite old now)
