it did really happen.... its been on the local news here a few times now.... together with comments from the police etc...

Ive got no idea how far he drive like that tho, maybe it was just 100yards ?

maybe he panicked / freaked out and didnt know what to do ?  maybe the car cut him up and he was mad as hell etc...


either way.... it did happen....

50tons of truck could push a 1ton clio along on a wet road without even feeling any slower.

Also the driver probably wouldnt even have felt it when he collected her and he cant see down in front of his cab, he would have to stand up to see it.

Its quite a common thing apparently, though not to the extremes of this case but if a car tries to dart in front of a truck at a junction for example the truck can collect the car and drive on for a bit without realising.
