I was having some issues at 1.8 bar with bad boost fluctuation that I put down to an exhaust leak, and maybe issues with my compressor housing (I might have convinced myself of that so I could buy a new ported housing)

Immediate difference is I now have no boost fluctuation, and a bonus is it sounds AWESOME now on boost!!

Anyway, here is the new compressor housing sitting on top of 25l of methanol

Compared to old bellmouth type

And beside a common or garden gt1749v turbo (That youd find on the likes of a Honda Civic Diesel)

Little repair I made to my spacer plate where the turbo mounts (I actually welded it the whole way round so I dont have to use a gasket!)

And the finished article, with the housing tapped - still need to connect boost solenoid up, and swap the crap mikalor supra clamp on the turbo for one of the thinner types (Broke the original one and only had a mikalor)

Next step - GT4088r !!

Need to get a rolling road printout soon, but suffice to say it makes wee boys out of BMW M5 drivers (The new model)
