I was in a crash in Jan 04 and it wasnt my fault, I got all my dosh back and kept my ncb, but today I got a letter from the ins. company and theyre taking the other party to court to recover funds and theres a form they want me to fill in and send back.

Am I obliged to do it? Problem is I can hardly remember things like how much I got or where it happened. Should I guess and tell them Im guessing?

It asks whether I was injured (no) or without a car to use and I was, but I cant remember for how long or whether I was working at the time.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Make an educated guess or see if you can retrace your steps with old statements and such. I should imagine most people take the wee a little with these things. Whiplash claims, etc.

Chris

Hmmm, just make it as accurate as you can put put a note saying it was 3 years ago and your memory of the events etc isnt as accurate as it was.

knighty

what does the form say ?

Im guessing you were insured fully comp, and as the accident wasnt your fault your insurance company paid out for you, and then they try to get the money back from the other guys insurance company.... who are probably dragging there feet, so your insurance company is going to sue.... itll never go to court tho, its just the way the process/system works.

is this when comone pulled out infront of you from a T junction ?   (/me can remember it !)

Pete

Yeah thats the one.

Ive read it again and actually they wanna know if I wanna claim for anything. Like I kept receipts for 3yrs

whiplash is difficult to prove ;-)

except youd have treatment for it at the doctors, so there would be a note on your medical records.

Pete

Its not really in my nature to do that tbh.

c) slight whiplash
