rattle alanso and he drives a bit erratically

LOL what was Kubica  doing?
And Sebastian Vettel  - what a wally

Massa going into the pits for his err "fuel" and change of tires was a nice way to avoid questions and let his team mate with a small chance of the title to get the points

Walrusbonzo

I loved it when Louise Goodman interviewed Mark Webber.

This is not totally accurate........

"What happened?"

"Well its youngsters isnt it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Its inexperienced youngsters, they f**k it up."

Live on ITV :D

Edd

aussies are unflappable

Rivkid

Oh that is just stupid, webber is looking for blame because he lost out on a podium but that was the guy ramming him up the asses fault, no one else had any issues

Shuey did far worse and more irratic stuff and stops and amming

The home made vids have been taken off youtube now sadly to see but just seen it shown on the tv, lewis moved to the faw side probably to pick up some water off track and then webber had his crash

I cant see anything wrong but the problem is it gives the FIA more fule to punish the team for the sake of it

dannywheeleruk

to be honest, i do think he was overdoing it some what.

the first restart when alonso was behind he was managing to get up to at least 3rd gear before jumping on the brakes and slowing suddenly, he wasnt really showing brilliant gamesmanship as james allen but effectively brake testing alonso

as brundle said, in his opinion he was over doing it and id have to agree with him

Rivkid

I love it. The worlds is f*cking mad. So Schumacher can damn near try and kill people in his career and ignore black flags and such and thats fine, Alonso can attemt to blackmail his team and and cause danger in the pit lane through being childish and thats fine. Coulthard can brake on the straight so that the car behind rams into him and out of the race so his team mate can win - thats fine.

Hamilton in extreme conditions drives (arguably) a bit ropey behind the safety car - BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!!! I believe they call this a witch hunt boys and girls.

Yeah coz we all remember what a great driver Brundle was. Sorry but thats been bugging me since he started commentating - you hear him talk youd think hed been 5 times world champion not some average mid pack runner. Plus his tongue is so far wedge up Ferraris arse itll never come out - give up Martin theyre not going to sign you now!!

sorry yeah, id forgotten you have more experience of being a grand prix racer than him, how silly of me.

QuotePlus his tongue is so far wedge up Ferraris arse itll never come out

.........youre joking surely, you must be.

QuoteAlonso can attemt to blackmail his team and and cause danger in the pit lane through being childish and thats fine

the blackmail ill agree with, altho doesnt really put anyone in danger of a crash so debateable whether it works in this arguement, however the putting people in the pitlane in danger.... when? they were queueing, stationary and the only two cars in pitlane....i dont see where the danger is?

QuoteHamilton in extreme conditions drives (arguably) a bit ropey behind the safety car
....a) if it was ropey the stewards would have dismissed it and let it go b) were they really the best conditions to go and drive like that? where drivers cant even see their own dashboards, is it really the best time to start playing chicken when he knows the safety car is still out?

QuoteI believe they call this a witch hunt boys and girls.

no no....no witch hunt, maybe a search for a primetime championship showdown in brazil in two weeks time, but certainly no witch hunt. for that read the fia documents on the whole McLaren case.

if they can penalise vettel 10 grid places for dangerous driving behind the safety car then surely the same penalty should be placed on hamiltons doorstep.......in the interests of consistent punishments (which is why Tony Scott-Andrews was brought in as the first permanent race steward in the first place)

neXus

The stewards did ignore it, it was never brought up during the race at all and was no where near as bad as Alonso, shuey and others have done as bad IN THE DRY in the past.

It has been raised and made and issue a few days after the race and it clearly is a bit of a witch hunt going on at the moment

It is the old case of get the wounded animal while its down

Rivkid

Quote from: dannywheeleruksorry yeah, id forgotten you have more experience of being a grand prix racer than him, how silly of me.

I didnt say I was better than him now did I stop being silly.  I said Hamilon was. Proven by the fact that he scored more points in his first season that Brundle did in his entire F1 career of over 150 grand prixs. Thats not my opinion mate thats a hard cold fact.

Quote from: dannywheeleruk.........youre joking surely, you must be.

Hardly - hes always been that way. Have you not WATCHED F1 since he started commentating??  If Schumacher had bent over his Ferrari in front of Brundle Im telling you hed have been violated.

It doesnt cause danger no I didnt mean it did - but Im talking about whats acceptable and what isnt and Blackmail sure as hell isnt. As for the pits Im sorry but arsing about in any form when your surrounded by fast powerful cars and large amounts of fuel in a fairly contained space is dangerous end of.

Quotea) if it was ropey the stewards would have dismissed it and let it go b) were they really the best conditions to go and drive like that? where drivers cant even see their own dashboards, is it really the best time to start playing chicken when he knows the safety car is still out?

I still cant believe your trying to make out this is bad when for YEARS weve all seen Senna, Schumacher, Prost, Mansell, Patrese, Alesi etc.. do far far worse and no ones battered a bloody eyelid. Besides like Nexus said if he was driving dangerously it should have been picked up before now. Seems to me like its took them this long to find something to complain about.

As for the rest - maybe Vettel shouldnt have been. You talk of consistancy yet the rest of your entire argument is the total opposite. The complaints are stupid though - Button who I usually adore is just whining because he didnt want to race in the first place and is bitter, Webbers just a knob and always has been (look at how he reacted to poor Vettel).

QuoteHardly - hes always been that way. Have you not WATCHED F1 since he started commentating?? If Schumacher had bent over his Ferrari in front of Brundle Im telling you hed have been violated.

schumacher refused interviews with brundle consistently as he found him to be overly critical of his driving and conduct on the track, this was before schumacher found himself with an exclusive contract with german television

QuoteProven by the fact that he scored more points in his first season that Brundle did in his entire F1 career of over 150 grand prixs.

because brundle wasnt thrown straight to the sharp end of the grid with hundreds of hours in a specially built simulator with a team with computers so good the car can be pretty much set up before theyve even arrived at the track. a pretty obvious fact

QuoteBlackmail sure as hell isnt.

didnt affect anyone else, not even hamilton overall so not a valid arguement.

Quotearsing about in any form when your surrounded by fast powerful cars and large amounts of fuel in a fairly contained space is dangerous end of

granted, however they were stationary and in a situation where safety is at its highest. what was going to happen? the fuel flap spring open and start spraying everyone in fuel?...no. would you penalise raikkonnen for his doughnuts at the end of the belgium grand prix? same premise.

QuoteBesides like Nexus said if he was driving dangerously it should have been picked up before now. Seems to me like its took them this long to find something to complain about.

or maybe there was no footage of it before until whoever it was put it on youtube, as its pretty clear the tv cameras didnt pick it up or wed have gotten a reply of it at the time
