I tried an E36 out the last time i was looking in October, the seat wont go back far enough in the coupe. The saloon i can sit in, but the seat goes back way past the A pillar making it almost impossible for me to pull myself out of the doorway :P, i was wondering if a convertible might be any different :P might just get one of those for £2500.

I think a b5 A4 is good shout, mine is an excellent car, at that sort of money your could get a nice 1.8t probably.

I had one before if anyone remembers (was a few years back now :P ), earliest example b5 on a 95 plate in rusty red colour, it had around 60k on the clock, and is the reason ive considered getting another b5 because they are a joy to drive :)
