just worked it out.
us gallon = 3.8 litres. price here for diesel is 87p/litre so works out about Ã,£3.31 for us gallon, about $6.50 per us gallon.

My Clio would get me to Liverpool and back with a 1/4 tank spare. While I think the tank is a bit smaller on the Mazda, I had to refill when I get there as I had used more than half the tank, a Ã,£40/Ã,£50 round trip in other words.

Definitely not worth ragging it again!

I got from Nashville to Seattle once in the early 90s for about $50 worth of fuel. Daihatsu 1.0L powah!
