Post by: Jaimz on December 16, 2007, 15:43:01 PM
Got some new alloys on the T-Sport. 17" Wolfrace Tenzo - dead chuffed with them. Just need to wash the car now heh, maybe tomo. Anyway, photos:

They look great, but I cant help feeling that you need to chrome some details of the car so they dont stand out too much.

Nice :) Just need some beefy disc brakes with nice painted red calipers in them now!

Chrome detailing can go either way between ace and tacky as fudge. What would you suggest?!

Brake upgrade is a possibility but red calipers probaby gonna happen when it warms up a bit .

Nice... im liking the look. Not so sure about the chrome detailing that nige suggests, but then I know nothing about cars.

I quite like the aggressive look they give :)

Well exactly, you could end up trying to dress it up like some old Roadster and looking awful.

Id consider door handles, sidelights or at a stretch the wing mirrors - but thats the most likely of them to make it look tacky.

Maybe not even chrome, just a silver/aluminium effect could work. Thats if you can even get these sorts of things for a Yaris.

What about just a nice wash, and wax... Glossy black could set em off a treat. :)

How about a little pinstriping? :)

Definitely worth painting the calipers if you can.

Yes I would certainly paint the calipers. I keep meaning to get mine sorted in red.

Red calipers and a wax/shine jobby would do much I would avoid more chrome for two reasons one: it would be hard to make it look good and two: to much child labour in chrome mining.

most chrome nowadays isnt really chrome, its a mix with polymers to help prevent chipping.

I like the rims but I think you need it lowered 20-30mm to fill the arch a bit better :)
