Managed to get some Seats from a Forester Sti - much nicer than the leather armchairs that were in there before. I prefer them in black as well rather than the blue ones you normally get in the Imprezas..

Alson now have a SECS monitor (no, not that kind) which plugs into the OBD port and gives you all kinds of info like boost, etc etc and with additional sensors Oil temp / pressure.

The Head Unit is a Kenwood DDX-6029 double din DVD, satnav, TMC, Ipod etc and Ive had a Kenwood roof screen put in with a PS2 install to keep the kids quiet !

Loads more mods coming up including remap and stuff so watch this space ;)

Reminds me a lot the Legacy interior.  In fact I think it is.  Really nice place to sit.

knighty

you must have too much money burning a hole in your pocket :P

looks nice tho :)

I liked the car far far better stock. You know, all sleeper and grown up instead of rice rocket. But its not my car.

Have fun chillin with Xibit. :D

Bartop

Rice Rocket - how very dare you sir. ;)

I thought I was being quiet restrained - got the stickers and carbon fibre excess out of the system with the last car :D

Seriously - most people dont even give it a second glance, unless they hear it coming of course

You need a big wing on the back like the Mexican street racers around here put on their bondoed Civics. They even have the ones with pointy "el diablo" winglets now. :ptu:

Or start over with a Hi-Jet. :D:

:P

Pimp my ride, 1st series. $20000 of stuff in a hijet if Im not mistaken.

The Legacy looks nice with that front bumper, but I still say lower the car.

ECU monitor is a bit pointless, but like the seats.

Why not get an STi in the first place?

Cos it was 10 grand more  8)

Ive prob spent 5k on mine and had all the fun of modding it - its now faster and pretty much better specd than an Sti..

How can the monitor be pointless - it displays boost, oil temp and oil pressure amongst loads of other things, records peak values, reads and resets ecu error codes, plus you can set alarms for when it exceeds the limits you set.. :D

Mark

Exactly. Totally pointless. Useful displays would be inlet temperaure, manifold depression, mixture richness, timing advance/retardation. Computer game figures arent much use but to gawk at!

QuoteLive Data Monitoring of : - battery voltage, engine speed, vehicle road speed, coolant temperature, intake temperature, injector duration, knock, lambda, throttle postion, boost pressure.
Oil pressure and oil temperature via additional sensors.
Current and historic fault code reading.
ECU and fault code reset.
Shift light control.
User adjustable alarm monitoring of : - battery voltage high and low, boost pressure, coolant temperature, oil pressure and temperature via additional sensors.
Water injection/nitrous control.
Record peak reading for engine speed, boost pressure, road speed and coolant temperature.
Clock.

   ;)

But all of the useful info isnt recorded? So no use as a diagnostic tool which is what I mean..I think its pointless having that displayed - bit like having a guage that says number of times door has been opened or tightness of wheelnuts

The only instruments worth buying (Well there are prob better - but the performance/price is good) but the only ones we have been buying of late have been stack dataloggers - they even do chassis logging now (With extra sensors)

LMAO

Bartop

ROFL..

Yeah, as in the name, its a monitor, not a data logger ;)

Point is it displays useful info - even if just oil pressure and temp, the choice was a set of Defi guages with boost, oil pressure/temp or this which has loads more functions / info..

Mark

I actually know someone who records the tightness of his wheelnuts
