I did.  So, I looked on google for cheap tyres and found pneus-online.  Comparing the prices with Kwikfit and BlackCircles, they were very cheap.  And free delivery too.  Jaimz and I thought it was too good to be true.  Well, it isnt.  The reason they are so cheap is the warehouse is in France.  Tyres must be much cheaper there than they are here.

I have bought 2 Goodyear GS-D3 XL tyres, Ã,£57 each.  There were on Kwikfit for ~Ã,£100 and they are Ã,£91.25 on BlackCircles.  I ordered them on Thursday afternoon, I had to fax off a copy of some ID to confirm my identity.  The tyres were delivered today by Parcelforce.

The website also lists fitting stations with quotes for cost.  You can also have your tyres delivered straight to the fitting station so all you need to do is drive there when your tyres arrive.  I chose to have them delivered to me so I can go to a local tyre place, a fair bit nearer to me than the fitting station on their website.

If you want to save some money, I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Not that cheap for my 205/45/17s. mytyres.co.uk is much cheaper for me.

The best budget ones are hankook VENTUS SPORT and they are Ã,£55 on mytyres, Ã,£65 on that site.

Got my Conti sport contact 2s for Ã,£105 from Ã,£125 after a bit of hagling at my local tyre place that other day, they are Ã,£106 on that site.

For my tyres, it is cheaper than mytyres.co.uk
Obviously, they arent the cheapest in all cases.  Its always good to have an alternative and it have a recommendation of good service.

I wont try mytres again after the myriad arse-ups they made of my order.

That site looks reasonable, although the Pirelli P 2500s I bought are a fiver more each on there. I might try blackcircles next time.

I just took my car to get the tyres put on...  they couldnt get the security bolt off the near side wheel.  It seems the dealer over-tightened the nut when they put the wheel back on after working on the brakes last week.  

I have already been to the dealer today and looks like I have to go back tomorrow!  FFS
