So Ive got an opportunity to go on one of those test drive type outings in one of these at Silverstone, for about 60 quid. Same deal seems to be about 155 on the web, so quite fancying it.

Just wondering if anyones ever driven one, and whether Silverstone would be a good venue.

I was in one when it crashed if that counts ? :)

Very difficult to get in and out of without looking like a prick.

Very stiff suspension, very uncomfortable unless both driver and passenger are small - drivers elbow makes frequent passenger chest contact

Hmm, so question is now do I want to pay 60 to fold myself into the thing like some kind of comedy contortionist.

yes, because its great fun !

Except when you run into the back of an XM

Silverstone is a pretty good track, closest Ive driven to an Exige would be a VX220 Turbo (vaguely the same sorta thing) and it was AWESOME

My friend loved his Elise so much he bought a second one about a year after getting rid of the first one because he really missed it.

Hes 6 7" so he thought it so great he was prepared to concertina himself into it every day.
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo... Again.
