Since we were making it blatantly obvious we were drooling all over the car the owner did the gentlemanly thing and give it full revs before setting off. Sounds like an angry hound of hell ripping the air apart. Just awesome.

The manettino was set to low grip though. If I owned one I would make sure I turned it to look as if I had all aids off every time I parked (though Id switch back to low grip or sport for driving).

I love the guys attitude of parking in two spaces.

"F*** you all, this is a Ferarri."

I never really liked the 360, felt it aged too quickly in the looks department.

The 430 is a completely different story, stunning timeless classic    8) Not to mention the ridiculous performance ;)

You can not achieve 10% of the oral vaccum that driver of said car achieves.

tis more likely he parked like that because the UK has tiny parking spaces & he wanted to avoid getting new racing stripes

still I dont reckon people should drool/take photos of cars like that - just gives the owner an even more inflated opinion of himself.

I like to look at such car drivers in the eye at traffic lights and hold my index and thumb about 2" apart so that they can see. Interpret as you will.

I must say I would park across two spaces so some tool in an Astramax doesnt dent the doors.

This is the second time this has happened outside work (last time was a 360) and I ended up chatting to the guy. He was very very sound and obviously was just a guy, like us, who loves cars. Only difference being he was lucky enough to be in a position to buy one. He wasnt cocky about owning it, just pleased that someone appreciated it.

Or people in smart cars who can still get in those spaces and will do so.

Me and a mate had minis and blocked an Evo in who had parked like that in tescos car park.

Didnt touch the car but the owner couldnt get in it.  We did a nice big shop too and sat in the cafe after.

All he could do was say "Well done" with a pissed off look on his face to which I replied "Yeah, I can park"

legend

There was a space I used the other day, that ran alongside a fence but I drove in facing the fence, not alongside..   the back of the car wasnt over the line at all where the side of the car was meant to be !
