Think the biggest problem will be safety. Being surrounded by 3 walls of water may not help if it needs to be evacuated in a hurry

I suppose they would have thought of that, I mean Sydney and Japan and other locations have islands of buildings and large buildings sticking out of into a large river or sea, Dubai for example as well, so there is probably well known approaches in terms of safety.

But this is one building that holds thousands of people. Not some office block that has about 2-3k

If there was a major fire at the only end that has access to land, then thats a big safety risk. Unless they plan to have somesort of floating footbridge or footbridge barge that can be put in place on match days.

The waters only inches deep there so even if there was a fire and you couldnt swim itd be cool. Apart from the water being mank.
