Are you going to sell your badges on eBay with a little story to go along with them, or will you glue them back on when you sell it?

snellgrove

into a bag they go and ill keep em for the next owner

wont put them on before I sell though - job for the next owner lol

or if the car wont sell... well I may think about it.

but yes, definately keeping them :) probably worth a fair bit tbh

You know what kind of car you have, so why have the stupid logos? Its not like I walk around with pants that have a chrome badge stating the fabric content and waist size.

lol thats just sexual frustration mate! :D lol

new springs next, I think....  :) and maybe dampers if I am still not satisfied with the bodyroll situation.

and then strut-bracing if I am still not satisfied after that.

suspension is easily the weakest point in the cars performance - mind you, it is quite comfortable  thats the trade off though, huh.

Dampers aint going to dictate the body roll - thats what an anti roll bar is for - it needs to be thicker ie stiffer. A very small increase in thickness leads to massive differences in stiffness.

Stuffer springs (That therefore NEED stronger dampers - never alter one without the other) have an effect on body roll.

Strut braces only have a very minor effect - they act more to prevent sudden camber changes - i suppose that could cause more grip which is always a good thing. There is quite a bit of heated argument over their usefulness.

Carefully chosen and set up AR bars dictate the over and understeer characteristics, by altering the front/back rear roll ratio

I would like to buy a coilover kit - springs, dampers etc but its a tad over Ã,£500.

buying in 2 stages is a bit kinder to the wallet :P

what ill do, is buy the springs and if I dont like it still, the dampers will follow, which will no doubt match the uprated springs better.

the springs are fairly soft on the Yaris, but the dampers might be ok - well see... plenty of people on the Toyota owners club have done springs only and are fine - ideally id like to have the TEIN coilover kit which supports EDFC.

pretty expensive, but you can alter the ride height of the car whenever you want, from a controller on the dashboard. 3 profiles I think you get so id have a high / soft comfy one, a lower than standard but only say.. 20mm or whatever for A / B roads (fairly bumpy!) and Id have a fast-road / motorway / duel carriageway one...  and itd be another 20mm lower!!

Why not take the dealer sticker off ?

Opposite ends of the spectrum I guess.

I just see no need in changing the original fabrication of the car in such a way, it must affect resale value too I would have thought. Would anyone debadge a Mercedes, or even a Ferrari?

He can keep them and stick em back on if he sells the thing to someone else.

Snell, TBH it is a common or garden small car as its very popular!
