Knew it would happen sooner or later, Ive been riding over broken windscreens and wingmirrors all week. Only glass did nothing to my tyres, they were bulletproof.

What got it?... A bloody piece of bent wire. Didnt just stab my tyre, but went completely through my tube.







Time for me to email wiggle and cash in on the years anti puncture guarantee, but need to change to my old rear tyre for that now. doh, and thats at home, not in my uni house, so gotta go back to fetch it in.

While youre at it, might be wise to emery cloth that rim seam, looks like its eating brake blocks like a pro-trainer consumes Wheatabix.

Tube is patched, and tyre is back on the wheel, took about 20 minutes in total, was worrying about the entry and exit wounds, but turns out one giant patch covered both holes with ease

May give it a good sand down when I replace the tube and tyre with the old ones, to send them back to get another fresh set.
