The FIA Did look to see if McLaren was involved in that and the crash, Apparently one of the mechanics sneezed causing Massa to drive off.
Expect a fine and points taken off them.

Most teams use a lollypop that a person lowers in front of the driver when they pit and lifts it up to tell them to go. This system was too simple for Ferrari who decided they needed electronic traffic lights. At the weekends F1 race, the lights turned green before the fuel hose was removed from Massas car, so he went flying down the pit lane with a huge tube flailing about from the car.

Damn, beaten to it.

Bit of a shame really.  Not his fault.

Yeah, most just happy to see Ferrari Do badly or cock up and have no chance to blame anyone but themselves or for the FIA (who are Ferrari) to punish or blame anyone else for Ferrari not doing so well in a race (namely McLaren)

The lollipop thing needs a review as well as the connection of the pump to the car because there are increasing incidents like this...

- On the weekend this was not the only time someone did this.
- Increasingly the lollipop guy has either got a signal wrong, mistimed or twitched to cause the car to go early and do harm
- The nozzles do not seem to be well made, they are made by a company and the same for all teams and supplied to them as is but in the last few seasons there has been a lot of jamming and other issues with them.

It has always been a risky thing in the pits and I am so happy they can change tires etc again (WTF where they thinking?) But it seems to be increasingly more dangerous. So they need to tidy up things in these areas a bit for all teams to make them safer.
I am not sure what though, Force them to hold the car up so it can not go till the fuel is in then down and release? Small rule change and may add a bit of time to a pit but at least they can not fly off until all is done. So a forced sequence of events change to the pit may be an idea?
