On my way to work, a lovely gentleman in a black Golf decided to overtake me, without noticing the large bus coming towards him in the oposite lane (perfectly flat/straight road btw). Cue the Golf having to swerve violently back into our lane and me having to jump off my bike onto the pavement to avoid getting hit.

Luckily I rolled rather than skidded and came away with nothing more than a scratched knee. The Golf didnt stop, it just carried on. My bike wasnt so fortunate, I think its knackered the back brakes, they seem to be semi-on perminantly, will have to see if I can fix it myself as I cant afford to take it to a bike shop.

So, to the man in the black Golf, around 4pm yesterday, on Cowbridge Road in Cardiff - [size=18]f**k YOU.[/size]

What is it with people and bikes in the last week or so be it motor or push?

Tongy Had a nasty fall breaking bones training for a French Ironman and a few other m8es have come off not to well on their bikes.

Did you get his number plate? As technically thats a hit and run mate surely.

Didnt get his number, and I think it was East, the one with Dominos on.

I would have turned right into him, he would have seen you then!! Or smacked on his window, let him have a head on collision the stupid f**ker.

I normally wear gloves riding a bike, a fist through the window would have given him something more to think about...

The alternative is to use your pedal, as maxi described at least once. Nice big scratch down his cars side.

I think Ill leave the anti-tank weapon behind when I go out biking...I cant ride no-handed for more than about 6 feet
